It states it increases his damage for every percent of hp below his max hp, but this value maxes out at dangerously low amounts of health, and worse still, because of the way it’s applied within the damage formula, it’s not actually accomplishing as much as you may be led to believe. His ultimate deals damage in a blast AoE, and is his only source of AoE damage, limiting his usefulness in encounters with many enemies.Īrlan’s talent is something of a bait for players. He can become quite the resource hog if not used carefully. If Arlan is below 15% max hp when he uses this skill, his HP will be reduced to 1, so Arlan could potentially continue to use this skill even when at exceedingly low health values, though for survivability reasons, this is not recommended.īecause of the need to keep up his health, Arlan consumes skill points by proxy, demanding healing and/or shielding from outside sources. This has the benefit of letting those skill points be used by other teammates, but it comes at the cost of somewhat reserved damage multipliers. This health cost is in place of a skill point cost, so Arlan is incapable of using skill points. His skill consumes 15% of his max hp to deal damage. Similar to an archetypal berserker, he’s certainly figured out the health consumption, but has yet to realise he needs a way to recover that health too. Arlan is a unit that can seem unappealing at first glance due to consuming his own health to attack.
